I’ve given thousands of private guitar lessons since 1988 in a wide range of styles including folk, blues, jazz, rock, fingerstyle, classical, funk, country & reggae .. instruction is open to all levels, absolute beginner to advanced – on acoustic or electric guitar. Learn songs, develop improvisational and compositional skills, sharpen your technique, apply theoretical concepts to the fretboard and have FUN!  My goal as an instructor is to give you the tools, motivation and inspiration to pursue a lifetime of learning on your own ..

I am available for private guitar lessons at my home studio in Essex Vermont.  Rates are $40/hour; $20/half hour ..

I also offer Applied Guitar Lessons at Johnson State College for credit .. open to all students (Music majors & non-majors) .. lessons meet weekly during the spring & fall, 12 times per semester as follows: 1/2 hour lesson = 1 credit (MUS-1120-J15) 1 hour lesson = 2 credits (MUS-3240-J15) 1.5 hour lesson = 3 credits (MUS-4030-J15 by Instructor’s permission) signup sheets for times are on the 2nd floor Dibden bulletin board – You must register for lessons (in person or online @ ) before choosing your time slot – lessons start on the second week of classes ..
