Guitar-Project is Sponsored by Sacramento Guitar Society to make music education available for students & families who cannot afford a music education, or attend a school that does not support guitar education. The cost of each class is valued at $25 per student, per week. Your donations are kindly accepted, and very much appreciated. If you can donate, that’s great!
This guitar project has been a long time coming and an unquestionable need to young musicians in this neighborhood as well as the greater Sacramento area.
Sac Prep Music Academy, since it’s inception, has been associated with providing music education and instruments to students in the Oak Park and South Sacramento area who do not have access to preparatory music education at their public, charter or home school programs. SPMA has provided full-ride scholarships to our summer music programs and to our recent Winter Guitar Sessions, not just to economically disadvantaged students, but to any student of music who is seeking to participate in our music program or ensembles, in order to further their music education and study.
The SPMA Guitar Project is made free to all ages and abilities, through “as needed scholarships,” as it is supported through the generous donations of:
&
And the ongoing donations of our many patrons of music education.
