With influences ranging from the Grateful Dead to Shel Silverstein and Sesame Street, Pavlovich provides an entertaining show that will have even the oldest in the audience feeling like a kid again. BLUS CABARET. Blus Cabaret is a lyrical jazz trio - flute/vocals, guitar, bass - favoring the American Song Book, be-bop familiars, and original material. . School of HONK is an open community street band that meets every Sunday to practice and parade. We take our music to the streets of Somerville every weekend, loud and proud, playing lively music to inspire our neighbors and to bind our community together. . Unique Alt-Folk-Rock band. Performing original music composed by the band members as well as selected covers. . The LAO is open to any accordion-playing "lady", and performs a wide variety of World, Pop, Country, etc. songs at the annual Somerville Squeezebox Slam, Honkfest, and local senior residences. . Jane Park is an acoustic-indie songwriter, influenced by Damien Rice, Kathleen Edwards, and Hayden. . Big Blue World plays a blend of original rock, world, and reggae music, with danceable rhythms and vocal harmonies. . We are a black magic hurricane ready to frighten and amaze you. The Wicked Pickersis a wicked-good, Boston-based band crafting a hot acoustic mosaic of bluegrass/Americana, jazz instrumentals, foot-stomping fiddle jigs, and harmony vocal numbers from folk to soul. We play rock/blues from 60's to now, mostly covers but we have been writing some original songs. Which we plan to introduce to our live set. Mark Sandman. Mark Sandman has been a part of the Boston and Cambridge folk music and coffeehouse scene since the 1970′s. His music is an eclectic mix of original songs and instrumentals, Chicago influenced blues, and early rock & roll classics.  In addition to performing as a solo artist, he is host of the Jam’n Java Open Mic at Kickstand Cafe. . Harriet Hart and Friends. I play original songs and some covers accompanied on guitar by myself and with others. Fiddle Fancy. Terry Traub and Catherine Miller are a lively accordion and fiddle duo who play Scottish and Cape Breton music for listening and dancing. Sandra, Ed and Jeffrey. This lively folk ensemble plays originals and cover songs that engage and enliven. Ed Loechler. Ed Loechler plays upbeat, spirited blues and jug band music from the Mississippi/Memphis area in the golden age of the 1920s/30s. He sings with gusto, while accompanying himself on guitar or mandolin--and, yes, even jug, which he keeps perched on a stand so he can play it while still playing a stringed instrument. . Chris Nauman is an award winning singer/songwriter who pumps passion into his performance with his dynamic guitar work and expressive vocals.  Hecommands the stage with a keen sense of honesty and freshness. Drawing inspiration from Neil Young, Bruce Springsteen, Jeff Tweedy, Colin Meloy and many others, Nauman channels his mid Western sensibilities into a spirited blend of Americana/folk rock. . Woman of a certain age sings folk songs and her own songs to a solo guitar.  . Box of Records plays familiar rock, blues, and folk-rock from the 60s & 70s without resorting to the same old standards that have been done to death. Also expect a few surprises mixed in as well. . Boycott is a no-boys-all-groove brass band playing 90s pop hits, balkan tunes, and other songs from the European and American street band traditions. Dorothea Juno-Johnston. Music will be Songs from my Spirit, written for fun and remembrance. . KID GULLIVER is a power pop band from Boston MA. We are a 5 piece band that aims to get everyone singing and dancing along. . As folk singer/songwriters we have been able to explore many different genres and facets of folk music. The music that we cover ranges from "old-timey" traditional songs right through the folk music stalwarts. . The Paul Rodriguez Band is a 4pc acoustic band consisting of two guitars, bass and drums. Quirky, original, folk-style songs. .Rick's been bringing his lyrical songs and solo guitar, to open mikes, small clubs and coffeehouses, galleries and listening rooms (and some Porchfests!) in New England, the Midwest and the Southeast since he started singing actively again in 2004.  Influences include inspired by Joni Mitchell and Leonard Cohen, David Wilcox, Vance Gilbert. . We play as an open jam with as little discussion or planning as possible while still trying to retain solid grooves. We stay away from covers, because we want to be as inviting as possible. AUNT MIMI is an up-tempo, acoustic guitar duo performing pop hits with a rock edge. We cover material from the present decade to as early as the 1950s -- from the Avett Brothers and Guster to the Kinks and the Everly Brothers. We combine harmony singing, varied guitar arrangements, anda wide range of styles in a way that keeps audiences listening and anticipating the next tune. In late 2012, three individual singer/songwriters united to form The Fretbox Trio. Comprised of Gary Goldsmith on guitar, Adam Kaufman on bass, and Jarrett Clayman on cajon (a Peruvian hand percussion box), the three weave together hints of blues, folk, and rock while creating a sound all their own. They write melodies to sing along with and three part harmonies to listen to. The Fretbox Trio puts on a dynamic, energetic live set, which engages audiences of all ages. Indeed, the members of the trio themselves span four decades. You can expect to hear creative original music as well as new takes on familiar songs when you catch them in a live setting. Jason Layne/Sunken Armada is an Indie-pop band of Boston-music-sceneveterans whose influences range from Wilco to Guided By Voices.  Their rock-pop sound is accented by the use of piano, cello and percussion to provide a somewhat orchestral atmosphere. . Material includes:Folk, Rock, Folk-Rock, R & R/Doo Wop, Country-Western, Southern Rock, Jazz, Russian language pop/folk, R & R/ Soul. The Jugger Nutz. Guitars, mandolin, and banjo team up with kazoos washtub bass and washboard rhythms in our interpretation of classic jugband tunes. . 90's influenced melodic guitar pop trio. . Rich Eilbert is known for his edgy folk-rock and satirical songs played on acoustic guitar.  He's played venues in the Boston area and further afield over the last decade.  Reviewers observe that his "melodies and lyrics illuminate the corners of life".  Rich's "Back From the War" CD has garnered much acclaim, the title track reaching the semi-finals in the Great Lakes National Songwriting Contest.  Last year he released the "Building Seven Bridges" CD project, co-produced with Kenny Selcer.   Rich will be accompanied by some of his frequent musical partners. . Dance and sing along to Margot's original tunes as well as some traditional and current folk-rock. Margot has beenentertaining families and children in theaters, schools, festivals, and libraries for the past 15 years. Her career began as a singer-songwriter performing around New York and Massachusetts before her children inspired her to join the family music scene.
