C Major Chord Tones and Ionian Scale
Introduction Let’s look at C major which is the I Major chord in the key of C and where those chord tones are on the C harmonica. Then we’ll look at the Ionian scale which is the scale built off the first degree of the major scale. The Ionian scale is the same as the major scale.

Chord – C Major. Aim for clean chords.
4/4 Rhythm – keep it as simple as needed. You can start out by strumming whole notes to match with the harmonica rhythm or strum straight quarter notes. If you’re comfortable with that, try something more challenging. In the video, I am playing this .
