Truffle has achieved widespread popularity by headlining many respected venues as well as sharing the stage with international acts as Little Feat, Phish, The Band, Dave Matthew’s Band, David Lindley, and Blues Traveler to name only a few. Truffle has released five albums (including “” on the November/Sony label) as well as contributing to , and assorted compilations. Their music has also appeared on multiple major motion picture soundtracks. Their latest, “” (2005) is a collection of songs penned and arranged by all the members ; with quality song writing, memorable melodies and tasty production, it is by far their most mature record to date. The trio’sgroove-driven acoustic style has a sound all it’s own. With elements of soul, bluegrass, R&B, and world beat, they bring a well rounded set of “music-Americana” to the stage. Their love of acoustic music, and a different set list and approach from their electric shows, creates a truly unique listening experience. Enjoy! Truffle is musically tight, their lyrics are inspired and they do not rely on gimmicks for appeal. Instead, Truffle offers songs with the listener in mind – songs that have been masterfully crafted and arranged.” ~ Showcase, Fosters’s Daily Democrat (Dover, NH) “The new CD “That’s Right” is vintage Truffle all the way. It reflects a band that has not only established a strong identity, but shows continued growth and maturity” ~ The Wire Magazine (Portsmouth, NH) “Ned Chase remains a stupendous songwriter, and Dave Gerard is one of the best singers I’ve ever heard, period” ~ Face Magazine (Portland, ME) “Out front, Dave Gerard, whose over the edge raspy vocals andcommanding guitar work is enough to satisfy most concert goers itself. And you have guitar, mandolin, lap steel wizard, Ned Chase competing for the spotlight night after night” ~ Jamnation (Fort Worth, TX) ” Chase’s solos are a string of pearls” ~ Portsmouth Herald
